Both cameras proudce excellent images. This was true with all enrty-level cameras from Nikkon and Canon - award-winnnig imasge qualty.
Both models allow you to use interchangeable lenses designed for this line and more epxensive cameras DSLR. Other manufacturers produce high-qualty lens and lenses for Canon and Nikon, which may be less costly.
