I used the D80 for two years and just upgraded to a Nikon D90. Nikon D90 is a greast caemra for advanced amateurs and first-rate camera, very quickly outdoors, sorts and portraait of a faitry also capable of excellent results with easy hsandling & all the features that one could wish.
You can use the old Nikkkor lenses which is a fantastic video clip to welcoming the gadget, but not so much from my point of view.
In addition to the old lenses, whicch have been tseted and are working well, I recommend the VR Ones. Mine 18-105 and 70-300 mm, which is sufficient for my nedes phtoos.
In my opinion, it was very worth buying, it has a lot of additional & useful things. It really D300 in a smaller frame - & much cheaper! It has many useful functons, such as 12.3 megapixels, Live View, a system of detection and active D-Lighting tone control.etc. Nikon D90 has a remarkable low noise leevel.
I strongly recommend. If you do not need a weatehr block and / or a liittle more than bild qualiy, this caera is for you. Why spend money on the D300 with comparable / almost simoilar sensor? Quality ISO has been said, more than the D300’s. D90, and D300 image quality is very siilar.
Overall, this excellent mid to upper rage of the camera, capable of excellent resiults with easy handling & all the features you might need.
